GZDOC 2016

As the only state-level international documentary festival in China, GZDOC 2016 will continue to play its role in leading the trend of China’s documentary industry and is expected to attract over 1,000 participants home and abroad to Guangzhou, including influential decision makers in broadcast and distribution, purchasers, providers and producers. Apart from competition, market, free communication, professional forums, international training and screenings, GZDOC 2016 will put emphasis on young director training and market trading.

There are two new changes in DZDOC 2016. One is that CCTV Documentary Channel will provide projects about Chinese stories with financial support, and the potential project must have global vision and stands out in the pitching. The other is that the Golden Kapok screening in 2016 will be held in seven different platforms. Besides screening campus tour and festival screening, there will be more cinemas involved in public screening, building the most famous documentary screening brand in China.
